Father’s Day is an annual worldwide celebration which honors fathers and their perennial influence in societies. The tradition was purportedly instigated in Monongah, West Virginia in 1907, where a memorial service was held for a group of men who died in a mining accident. International Day of Yoga is celebrated yearly on 21 June since its commencement in 2015. A global day for yoga was announced consistently by the United Nations General Assembly. Yoga is a physical, mental and otherworldly practice began in India.

Eid Norooz

Eid Nowruz is the title given to the Iranian New Year, also known as the Persian New Year, which has been observed by several communities for more than 3,000 years despite its Zoroastrian radices. National Day

The National Day of Qatar is a holiday which celebrates the unification of the Qatari peninsula under the reign of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani –also known as The Founder– in 1878. Formerly, the day was observed on the 3rd of September, coinciding with the Qatari Independence Day. However, in 2007, Crown Prince Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued a dictum that changed the observance day to the 18th of December; to correspond with the day of unification.

اليوم الوطني العماني هو يوم عطلة عامة يتم الاحتفال به في 18 نوفمبر من كل عام.

وتحيي فيه ذكرى الحكم الذاتي لعمان في 1650 ، بعد أن كانت جزءا من المستعمرة البرتغالية.
