Rosh Hashanah is another name for the Jewish Year. This great year is celebrated on the 1st and the 2nd days of the Hebrew month known as “Tishrei”. As a matter of fact, it starts on the last night of the month of Elul. Rosh Hashanah is the only Jewish holiday that goes on for two whole days. The reason behind it is to highlight the importance of it.
