Coptic Easter Sunday

The Coptic Easter is one of the most sacred Coptic Orthodox days observed by Christians in Egypt. It typically falls on the Sunday subsequent to the first full moon that follows the vernal equinox, and marks the end of the 55 day-long Great Fast. The Copts generally have more fasting periods compared to other Christian traditions.
